Started off the morning in the salon with Melinda. She was fixing my roots and trimming my ends. She’s the best. I love when I get to have my hair done by her. Afterwards  I met up with Kate for lunch at (you guessed it) Greek Souvlaki.
I kinda broke down. I am going to miss this girl and her little babes that is coming into the world in a few short weeks. Saying bye is soooo hard for me to do. I even cried when Jackie and I went to Arizona last spring break and she left to go home earlier than I did. LIke, actual rolling tears. I hate it! Distance it the hardest thing for me right now. I am sad that I am not going to be able to visit Rosie and mom in the hospital! But, I am really grateful for all of the time I was able to spend with Katie this trip!!!
After lunch, I went down to Herriman to see Jackie and baby Drew. I had such a great time with jackie this trip – she’s my soul mate. I can’t wait for all the years of laugh tears that are coming our way – whether near or far.
Heading to Cari’s house – in my last rendezvous in my car, I admired the beautiful place I’ve been for the past week:Â
Then at Cari’s house we baked and decorated a birthday cake for my little black olive:
I am glad that we got to celebrate her birthday early! I am also really glad that I got to spend some time with my brother and meet his new wife, Nadine before my flight. Love them!
I had such a great trip home. I spent 10 days doing all the things I love with all of my favorite people. I am excited for Christmas and to spend time with Jesika in the city and see my parents and sister in a couple of weeks.
Until next time, Utah!
LOVES,
B
