It’s SO GOOD to be able to see my J. Distance sure made my heart grow fonder (as if it could grow anymore, cause I sure love this little slice of shit)

I mean, really:In other news: HELLO, SNOW CONE THAT FELL DIRECTLY FROM HEAVEN (aka the Hokulia shave ice truck on South Main in Bountiful):Againâ€¦I mean, really? Katie suggested a pineapple and strawberry daiquiri combo with a little sno cap (sweetened condensed milk (EW, RIGHT?)) and it was DELISH. Like, even though I could feel myself slipping into a sugar induced dream like state – I couldn’t/never wanted to stop enjoying the simple pleasures in life like ENJOYING A DAMN SHAVE ICE WITH YOUR BESTIE AND A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET:

Moving on…I have been collecting so many freckles. And maxi swim dresses. And getting my money’s worth from my favorite sunblock from La Roche-Posay. It’s the best. My favorite from the line is the Anthelios SPF 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid – it’s the first sunscreen that doesn’t make my face feel super oily and gross and since I have super pale, East Coast skin, I need some serious protection from any/all UVs:
In addition to the SPF I also started wearing this sups cute floppy hat (yes, I am THAT pale):
Celebrated the 4th of July with boo bear and some Eaglewood fireworks!:
This is my favorite firework, JIC you were wondering:Okay. She’s the most ridiculous. I AM SO IN LOVE.

The past couple of days I have been packing up my apt and moving all of my stuff into a storage unit – FUN. It’s a miracle that everything fit. Woot!

After the big moving day, I went over to my sissy Cari’s house to sleepover and of course do my nails! (whilst watching How I Met Your Mother, obvs.)
Before my red eye to NYC, I went to dinner with S&J. Going to miss these little boo bears.
After dinner, I went and finished packing up and getting ready at Cari’s house. On my way out I snapped a picture of one of my “faybit” (favorite) babes.Â Miss you already,

Cinderellllly

Today at work Melinda and Jyl were on The Browser! So exciting. It was very fun to have them in studio and to be able to show them my desk/the newsroom! After their segment, I went to lunch with all of the amazing women and bloggers who are Shot At Life Champions. They are raising awareness about global health and vaccinations. Such an amazing organization – I am excited for all of the events that are coming up locally in the next few months.

After work, I went to dinner with one of my old friends, Justeen. I haven’t seen her for way too long! We grabbed some din at OG and then sprinted across the street to Capitol Theatre to see Ballet West’s Cinderella. It was AMAZING. Plus, pretty much the entire cast from Breaking Pointe performed (#stalker).
