As of late…

Thursday night I went to see Peter Shankman speak – he was amazing! I left feeling very excited about the future and things that I want to do. Thanks SMCSLC for hosting!

Friday I went and saw Eric(a) at Plan-B Theatre Co. It was so good! The content of the show was very interesting, but so was the crowd. Almost found as much emotion and interest in watching the people around me. Very thought provoking:

Saturday I went out to dinner with my dear friend, Jesika. She also made me some rum cakes for my birthday and gave me a gift perfect for summer:

Sunday, I snuggled with my favorite people – I also snapped some pics of my sissy and cute nephew Elliot. My sister is amazing – she wears so many hats each day and does so many things, but still always makes time to cuddle her little bugs. #jessicasimpsonactuallymakessomedecentshoes:

Today I had a typical Manic Monday until I came home and found some flowers from my sweet neighbor on my doorstep:

Tonight in my politics and persuasion class Jason Recher talked about political imagery via FaceTime. He was so interesting. I love this class.
Also, yesterday J and I met up with Thackery Binks to catch up over tea+crumps. It was a jolly good time:

Today I could hear birds chirping and it made me want to bbq, get a sunburn, listen to this (and this) with my windows rolled down on a summer night, and paint my nails lavender. I did 1/4 of those things. Success?

Right now my eyes hurt from staring at my computer all day long. My ears hurt too – because I have been wearing my skull candy earphones for a few songs too long. But, I can’t stop listening to this. I made soup for dinner and the leftovers are still sitting on the stove. I only have one sock on..the other one is probably lost somewhere in my snow boots I kicked off when I got home.

And tomorrow, I get to do today all over again. I can’t wait.

Watching: Lately, I have been taking serious advantage of my HBO GO subscription. I have started watching Enlightened…don’t really know how I feel about it. I am getting more and more intrigued…I will keep you posted. I have also been watching SNL and The Carrie Diaries (so bad it’s good).

Listening: I am really into playlists that contain songs that I was really into in high school. So..there’s that.

Doing: Thursday I went to watch Natalie and Janelle speak about social media and the news. It was so interesting!Â

Friday: Capitol Theatre is the coolest:

Last night Kyle’s parents went out of town and so he had a little party and invited J and I to go! It was so much fun – I haven’t stayed up that late in a long, long time.
