First last day of school.

Tomorrow is my last day of college. I still have a few more days of my internship to complete and a take home final for my mass comm law class – but tomorrow is my official last day that I will be spending on campus as a student.

I have been SO focused these past few months on making it to this point, that I think I may have not really taken advantage of being a student and the amazing atmosphere that is the U of U campus. I have been so focused on just making it, on just getting to the end, that I didn’t even really look to see what that means. Like, the growing up ‘n stuff parts.

I have the butterflies. I want to lay out my outfit for tomorrow. I want someone to take my picture with my backpack on. I am regressing to the feelings of the night before the first day of high school.

To be honest, I am scared to death. I have been so buried and concentrated on the day to day that I am just now starting to think about what it will mean to be done. What mondays and tuesdays will be like. What life will be like. It makes me want to throw up and celebrate all at the same time.

Tonight in my last politics and persuasion class was the big election! The last two groups to present were okaaay….it was as if they didn’t have enough time to prep even though they had an extra week. I think they could’ve done a better job – but whatevs.

Of course my candidate won! Watch his speech +Â press secretaryÂ speech.

Definitely one of my favorite classes I have ever taken. Learned so much about the news/politics! Very sad it’s over.

Awards ‘n stuff.

So, I entered this internship contest and I totally WON! So exciting. They honored all of the winners on Tuesday and I invited sissylongstockings and J to come and celebrate. They had lots of goodies and I even had to give a little speech (so embarrassing/you can totally tell I am more of a behind-the-scenes-girrrrl) You can watch it here: youtube.

Later on in the day, Jesika asked me to stand in (PLAY) on her rec softball team that just started. They were down a player and DESPERATELY needed someone. So, I said yes thinking they just needed an extra body. I kid you not 5 seconds after getting into the dugout I was up to bat.Â Let me just say I AM terrible at sports – add black hair and this is pretty much me on any given day:

After batting, I was in the outfield thinking about how if the ball were to come to me, how I would just run it in instead of throwing – just then a ball came RIGHT to me. I threw it in…and let me tell you – it was beautiful:
