I took the redeye out to NYC to visit friends and my long-lost favorite city. Made a pit stop to C&W:

After a nap, lunch and visiting old coworkers, I ventured up to the Met for some shopping and gallery strolling. Beeeeautiful:
I particularly enjoyed the Death Becomes Her exhibit and the Queen Victoria half mourning dresses:
Can’t wait for Andrea and Kyle to get here tomorrow!

My grandpa passed away at the great age of 87. He was a great man! I will travel to Arizona next week to say goodbye to him and his house he shared with my grandma.

Have you ever been to a favorite things party? It’s where you take a bunch of your favorite things for each person at the party and then they bring theirs and you all take each other’s favorite things home! 
Can you guess what was in my favorite thing bag? Obvi a pair of Christmas socks and a reese’s peanut butter cup. The party was hosted at my former boss’s house! A bunch of lotion landers got together for a reunion – it was a blast!

My niece, the little peanut that was born when I was just a kid, was Clara in her dance company’s Nutcracker. SHE’S ONLY FIVE YEARS OLD.
I literally cried the whole time. She did so amazing! My niece Noelle was also in the Nutcracker as a party girl and jester. I loved watching these two sweet sisters dance together.
