About Brooke

I am pretty sarcastic and I don't like people who eat their food weird.

Day 10. Santorini!

Did I have a baby looking at me or was I just THIS excited to be taking the tram up the mountain to explore Santorini, Greece??

It was a beautiful day spent exploring this busy Greek town. We explored the city and ended with dinner by the beach: including a block of feta for yours truly. Heading back to the boat I caught this photo of my two lovebird parents — who have supported each other for more than 50 years.

It was a great day.

And a good night too 🙂

What day is it?

JK, it’s day nine! We’re docked in Corfu, Greece today and it’s hot as hell. We took a tour bus around the small island to get a good view of it and stopped off at one spot where we promptly snuck through a hotel lobby and down the windiest pathway to their private beach. Brent and I took an adventure and sat by a landing strip and watched planes land and take off. It was a great day!

I never want this to end!

Day eight: Hi Montenegro!

The fam all squeezed into a smaller boat and took a day tour this beautiful place:

We got to swim in the Adriatic sea!

I’m dead:

Seriously.

Can’t breathe.

Meanwhile, here I am. Being a WIMP and choosing not to swim in the blue cave. I at least dipped my toes.

It was a perfect day! (after it stopped raining)

After the day trip, I was ready to get back on the boat, shower and get a great dinner! I am absolutely loving this ship and cruise life.

Day seven: Welcome to the Norwegian Star

It’s. All. Happening.
Cause we’re the best four friends that anyone could haveeeeee. I love these two SO MUCH my heart is literally bursting. I am so lucky. Also, get to be a few rooms away from this little sassy pants for the next week. YASSS And hang with this cute dude:

The boat sailed out of Venice and it was INCREDIBLE. First stop tomorrow: Montenegro.

Day six: t-minus one day till we’re cruisin’

Okay, the Duomo is amazing at night — but it’s CRAZY gorgeous during the day, too.

We visited the La Scala opera house as well. I read a book for book club called Beneath the Scarlet Sky all about the Duomo in Milan and the La Scala opera house. It was really cool to get to see these places in person.

We ended our road trip not far from where we will board our cruise ship tomorrow with the rest of my family. Brent and I killed time in the hotel buffet:
