You guys (and by guys I mean ‘hey mom!), it’s the first warm weather season I’ve experienced as a healthy, normal weight person. I bought some shorts that are a litttttttle shorter than I have ever dared to wear — and I wore the shit out of them all day long. Not going to lie though, I thought about changing my outfit a thousand times. I even popped into the little Gym by my parking spot to check myself out with different lighting and a few angles. I almost walked back to my house for pants. But then I figured F IT! I’ve worked hard to get to were I am at, and if I don’t live my damn truth now, when will I?! Wore my little shorty shorts to Rachel’s bridal shower:

It was a blast, even when it got a little rainy:

Then Pari took me a on a friend date. She told me that I needed to dress up and be ready at 7 for our 7:15 dinner reservation. She rolled up looking like a million bucks and drove us straight to the valet at Ruth’s Chris where she treated me to dinner! What did I do to deserve her?!?!

I took her out after for a ginger beer and a loud, fiery, tiki cocktail:
